OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra Confirmed to Launch Soon; Design, Colourway Teased

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra has been officially. We can expect it to launch very soon probably in April 2026 in China.

The device has already been listed in certification listings, which means that the development is complete and the launch is near.

It will be part of the Ace 6 series lineup, which already has the Ace 6 and Ace 6T.

Like the Ace series phones it may be rebranded for other countries possibly as a OnePlus R series phone.

In terms: this phone is real not just a rumor and we are very close to its official launch.

The design of the phone has not been fully revealed by OnePlus yet. From the early teasers and leaks we can get an idea of what it will look like:

Expected design highlights include:

* Flat display with very thin borders

* Premium finish on the back

* Camera module design

* Symmetrical and balanced look, which is great for gaming

Compared to OnePlus phones the Ace 6 Ultra is expected to look more modern, more focused on performance and slightly thicker because of the bigger battery and cooling system.

The color options for the phone have not been officially announced,. Based on leaks and what OnePlus has done before:

* We can expect a black version

* A silver or white version

* Possibly a special edition color, like the sand-style finishes we have seen on OnePlus phones

OnePlus often uses unique textures or matte finishes so we can expect the phone to feel premium.

The main focus of this phone is its performance.

The processor is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.

This will be a top-of-the-line processor, designed for gaming and heavy use.

The display is expected to be 6.8 inches with a high refresh rate of 165Hz and a resolution of around 1.5K.

This means that the phone will have smooth scrolling, better gaming performance and a premium viewing experience.

The battery is expected to be very large between 7000mAh and 9000mAh with fast charging likely to be between 80W and 120W.

This makes the phone perfect for long gaming sessions.

Some reports also suggest that the phone will have cooling features like a fan or vapor chamber and gaming-focused optimizations.

This clearly shows that the phone is targeting gamers and heavy users.

The camera is not the focus of the phone but we can expect it to have a 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera and additional sensors with improved AI photography.

The focus of the phone is on performance, not the camera.

Here is a comparison with the Ace series:

* Feature Ace 6 Ace 6 Ultra (Expected)

* Processor Snapdragon 8 Elite Dimensity 9500

* Display 120–165Hz 165Hz (higher focus)

* Battery ~7800mAh Bigger (possibly 9000mAh)

* Target Balanced Performance/Gaming

In conclusion the Ace 6 Ultra is expected to be more powerful and more focused on gaming than the Ace

The phone will initially launch in China. It may be launched globally later.

Historically Ace series phones have been. Launched globally like the Ace series being rebranded as the OnePlus R series.

So who should buy this phone?

It is best for gamers, heavy users, people who love performance and those who want a battery life.

It is not ideal for people who are focused on the camera or want a phone.

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is shaping up to be a performance beast of a smartphone focused on gaming, battery life and speed with features, like the Dimensity 9500 chip, 165Hz display, huge battery and premium design.

This is OnePluss power phone of 2026 built to compete with gaming and flagship devices.
