The Z Flip7 is really good, at the things that make the Flip series so nice. It is small enough to fit in your pocket. The Flex Mode is very clever. The cover screen is fun to use. The Z Flip7 also does two things that people have been asking for. It has a main screen and a bigger cover screen that is actually useful. The battery life of the Z Flip7 is also better because it has a battery and the parts inside are more efficient. The Z Flip7 has a battery and more efficient parts which means the battery life is better. The Flip7 is a phone and all but it does not feel like a completely new thing. It has some updates, like faster charging and better cameras. However these updates are not as big of a deal as people thought they would be. The Flip7 also costs a lot. You have to make some choices that might not be perfect. This makes the phone a little less exciting than it could be. The Flip7 has some wins. It is not a completely new and amazing phone.

This bigger screen makes the Samsung phone a lot more useful. It is not a fun thing to have it is a real phone that people can use for lots of things. People can read, watch videos and use two apps at the time, on the Samsung phone. These things are more fun to do because the Samsung phone has a screen so there is more space to look at things. The panel is bright, color-rich, and benefits from Samsung’s usual display chops (high peak brightness, good HDR handling).

The Flip7 has a cool cover screen on the outside. This cover screen is a deal for a lot of people who want to buy the Flip7. Before you could only see a window with a few details.. Now the Flip7 has a big 4.1-inch Super AMOLED screen on the cover. This makes a difference. You can use the Flip7 cover screen to do lots of things. You can use it to look at messages use tools called widgets and even see what your photos will look like before you take them with the back cameras. You can take selfies with the back cameras. Use the cover screen to see how you look. This makes the Flip7 really useful when you just want to check something. You can answer messages change your music and look at maps without opening the Flip7. The Flip7 cover screen is very handy when you are, in a hurry or just want to do something. The Flip is no longer a cute thing it is a practical phone because of the cover screen.

Caveats: the main display is still limited by the fold. It has a small crease. This is a lot better than the flip phones but the screen is not completely flat like a regular phone. For people who’re very particular, about taking pictures or use tablets a lot the Flip style still has some drawbacks.

Performance & real-world speed

The Samsung Flip7 has the Exynos 2500 in a lot of places.. In some areas it might have a different brain depending on where you buy it and what deal you get. The Samsung Flip7 feels really fast when you use it. The One UI 8 makes the Samsung Flip7 look nice. It has artificial intelligence features that make it easier to use the Samsung Flip7. This makes it feel like the Samsung Flip7 is smarter. It can do things quicker. Some people who reviewed this thing said that the Exynos version can get pretty warm when you use it a lot for things. The Exynos version may not be as good as the high-end Snapdragon versions when it comes to playing games. The Exynos variant is not as fast, as the Snapdragon counterparts when you play games that need a lot of power.

The Flip7 is really good for the person who wants to use it for email watch videos use social media apps and play games sometimes. It works enough for these things.. If you want a phone that can handle really long gaming sessions without getting too hot you might want to consider a different kind of phone. These other phones are better, at staying cool and working at their best for a time.

The battery life of this thing is really nice it has gotten better. But the charging part is still the same it has not changed all. The battery life is definitely an improvement. I wish the charging was different too.

You cannot just charge your Samsung Flip7 phone for a few minutes. Expect it to go from 10% to 70% battery. Some other phones can do this in 20 minutes like when you are, on a coffee break.. The Samsung Flip7 phone cannot. You have to think and charge the Samsung Flip7 phone for a longer time. For a lot of people who own a Flip and really like how small it is and they charge it at night this is not a problem.. When you compare it to other phones that charge really fast it is something that Samsung did not do well with the Flip.

Cameras — competent, creative, but not class-leading

The Flip7 has the cameras as before. It has a 50 MP camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. There is also a 10 MP camera, for taking selfies. Samsung is using software to make the Flip7 cameras better. They have improved the night modes. Added AI framing and Galaxy AI processing to get more out of the Flip7 cameras. The Flip7 cameras are getting better because of the software. The foldable form is really useful, for taking pictures. You can fold it up. Use it on a table to take photos. The cover screen can also be used to take selfies with the camera. This is a help because you can see what you are taking a picture of. The foldable form also makes it easier to take pictures from angles. The foldable form provides these benefits. That is a good thing. The benefits of the form are real and they make taking pictures more fun and creative.

The Flip7 takes pictures when you are outside during the day. The colors look good. You can see a lot of details.. When it gets dark the phone does not take pictures as well. The main camera is okay. It does not have all the features that it should have. This is really, about the software, not the hardware being bad.. It does affect how things feel. A bigger canvas could be really useful. Do a lot more if the platform really focused on making the most of it. The software is what is holding back the canvas from doing more things.

Durability and longevity

Samsung is making the Flip7 a lot better. They are using parts for the hinge. The Flip7 is also better at keeping water out it has something called IP48 water resistance in places. It is made with something called Armor Aluminum. The hinge is also better it folds flat and feels very tight. You still have to be careful with the Flip7 because the screen on the inside is not as hard as phones and the hinge can break if you are not careful.. The Flip7 is one of the strongest Flip phones that Samsung has made. The Samsung Flip7 is really good, at being durable. Samsung is saying that they will give us software support for a time. This means they will keep our device safe with security updates and also give us Android updates. This is a thing because it makes the device a better value, for the money even if it is really expensive.

What is missing from the things we buy. Why it still feels like something is not quite right, for some people who buy things.

The camera on this thing is not really getting better. Most of the improvements to the camera are because of the software, not the camera hardware. If you already have a Flip6 the camera is not much better on this new one. It still does not take pictures in low light and other top of the line phones are still better, at that.

The Flip7 is an iterative upgrade path. It refines the clamshell concept of the Flip7 than changing it completely. If you were looking for something new and different like a completely different hinge or really cool materials you will probably be disappointed. A lot of people who have reviewed the Flip7 say it is the polished Flip7 so far but it is still just a small step forward, for the Flip7.

The price of the Flip7 is really high it costs much as the best phones in most places. If you can find a Flip6 for a lot cheaper or a similar phone from another company you might not think the new things about the Flip7 are worth the money. The Flip7 has a screen and a bigger battery and some small changes to the software. Some websites like TechRadar and Android Central said that the Flip6 is still a choice if you do not need the new screen on the cover. The Flip6 is a deal, for the money you pay for it.

The cover screen software has a lot of potential. The hardware is really good. The software feels like it could do even more things. So the cover screen software is very promising. It does not do everything it could do yet. The cover screen software still needs some work to be really great.
